More than 1,500-square-feet of office space will be available for one or more area nonprofit agencies as of October 1, the United Way of Northern New Jersey, which owns the building, announced Monday.
Tenants have use of the rear parking lot, as well as storage in the basement. A keyless entry system will be installed soon, and there are also plans to upgrade offices.
The United Way Building building at 60 South Fullerton Ave., located next door to the Montclair Public Library, was conceived as a space to house social service agencies when it was built to honor local philanthropists David and Ella Mills.
