St. Cassian School Dresses Purple, Raffles Bear

Students wore purple clothes instead of their school uniform to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer.

St. Cassian School in Montclair hosted its 6th Annual Purple Tag Day, along with a Teddy Bear Raffle. Students wore purple clothes instead of their school uniform to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer. The faculty participated, too.

All proceeds were sent to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.

Pictured here are cousins Jessica Fedroff and Bridget Hall, who lost their Grandmother in August of 2007 less than one week after she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Michael Cassels won the TempurPedic Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Bear.

Mary Cassels is Principal of St. Cassian School.
