Nonprofit Succeed2gether recently launched Pathways Forward, a new program offering wrap-around support for students and their families over the six-year journey from middle school through the first year of college or vocational training. The program is free for low and moderate-income families.

The first introductory session of Pathways Forward will take place on Wednesday June 30 at 6 p.m. Students starting 8th grade up through those entering college and their families are invited to attend. “Pathways Forward will help students build a roadmap for their future by guiding them to form goals and develop the skills necessary to reach them,” said Marcia Marley, president of Succeed2gether. “This is a natural extension of our existing and established educational programs and we’re so excited to begin with our first cohort.”

Pathways Forward will provide quarterly group meetings and information sessions, as well as workshops and hands-on, one-to-one mentoring and instruction for students and their families. Services offered will include: study skills, tutoring help, career information, test prep workshops, college essay and application support, financial aid advice, class and school selection guidance, as well as important life skills such as self-advocacy and goal setting.
