
MONTCLAIR, NJ — They gave a hoot.
Recently, animal control officers with the Montclair Township Animal Shelter embarked on an unusual challenge: rescue a tangled-up, great horned owl from a soccer net.
Luckily, rescuers were able to gently free the imprisoned raptor, which almost immediately spread its wings and soared into the air.
