Tapastry Restaurant Kicks Off Autumn Outdoor Music Series
The so-called Church Street Sweater Series will begin on Thursday evening.

Tapastry Restaurant proudly presents Rivanna Records recording artist Bob Cannon on Thursday, Sept. 13 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to kick off "The Church Street Sweater Series"—an autumn outdoor music series at 12 Church Street.
Tapastry owner Greg Spinelli says, "Bring a sweater, a nice bottle of wine
or a few beers and dine al fresco while listening to the wonderful line-up of
musicians booked for the fall season."
In the event of very chilly or inclement weather, the free concerts
will move indoors to Tapastry's main dining room.
Cannon will perform songs from his new album "Unbreakable Heart", as
well as dozens of pop favorites by the likes of Elvis Costello, Nick
Lowe, Randy Newman, and more.
After a lifetime of playing music up and down the East Coast from
Maine to Delaware with stops in Miami and Nashville—and playing in
recent years with local artists such as Andrew Klewan, Tim Kennedy,
Dave Sobel, the fc band and Carrie Cantor—Cannon has juggled his own
music with a career writing about music for magazines like
"Entertainment Weekly" and "Performing Songwriter".
Tapastry's successful music series is managed and hosted by Meg
Beattie Patrick as well as Spinelli, who sometimes do a set or two
themselves.
Tapastry's authentic menu is created by Chef Gonzolo Fernandez and won BEST DESSERT at the 2012 Taste of Essex for its flan. BYOB. No Cover. Tapastry Restaurant, 12 Church St. For reservations, call 973-233-0216.
