UPDATE: Thanksgiving Eve Winter Storm Advisory for Montclair
The storm is expected to hit Montclair on Wednesday as rain, then progressing to snow as the day goes on. 4 to 8 inches are expected
The Montclair Ambulance Unit is monitoring a winter storm expected to hit the area in the morning on Wednesday November 26. The storm is expected to begin as rain then turn to snow and ending on Thanksgiving morning.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Storm Watch. Their forecast expects snowfall accumulations of 4 to 8 inches before the snow ends Thursday morning. This is lower than previous predictions of  6 to 10 inches. According to the National Weather Service, a weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions.
The MAU warns travelers saying they should be aware of the possibility of hazardous road conditions and possible airline delays and/or cancellations.
