10-Month-Old Child In I-295 Crash In Mount Laurel Dies
A 10-month-old child died after a crash on a NJ highway that also resulted in six other injuries, according to State Police.
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — A 10-month-old child died following an accident in which seven people were injured on I-295 in Mount Laurel early Monday morning, police said.
The child was initially listed as having serious injuries following the crash by the exit for Mount Laurel off I-295 north, New Jersey State Police said.
The child died early Tuesday morning, according to State Police. Updates on six other people who were hospitalized after the crash weren’t available Wednesday afternoon. None of those involved in the crash have been identified.

A Toyota Sienna was traveling north on I-295 near the exit for Mount Laurel when it ran off the road to the left and struck a guardrail, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Read more here: 7 Injured, Including 5 Children In Accident On I-295: Police
The car was cut off by a tractor trailer, and rolled over off the roadway, according to 6 ABC. One of the children was unconscious when police arrived, according to CBS 3.

It is the third fatal accident in Burlington County in the last week, according to the Courier Post. The others were in Evesham Township last Wednesday, and in Springfield last Thursday.
