Moorestown School Board To Discuss Superintendent Search Tuesday

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Public School District’s Board of Education will discuss the leadership profile and desired characteristics that will serve as the basis for its search for the district’s next superintendent when it meets Tuesday night.

The board will meet at 6 p.m. at William Allen Middle School. It will first meet in closed session with Illinois-based Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates, a firm it unanimously appointed to lead the search for Scott McCartney’s permanent replacement.

It will then return to public session, where the firm will make its presentation. The school board will then vote on the firm’s proposal.

On June 8, Leonard Fitts was unanimously appointed by the Board of Education to serve as the interim superintendent. He will serve through June 30, 2022, or until the board selects a permanent superintendent. Read more here: Moorestown School Board Appoints Interim Superintendent
