3 Events For Kids At The Moorestown Library Saturday
It might rain on Saturday, but the library has plenty of fun activities for kids that take place inside.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - The rain might be falling on New Jersey on Saturday, but the Moorestown Library has plenty of activities on tap. And they are all inside.
The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company presents “The Life of Leonardo Da Vinci” at 10 a.m. No registration is required.
“Leonardo was a scientist, an artist, an engineer…and much, much more,” the library said in its listing for the event. “This brilliant, creative man inspires a special fascination in all of us. Explore the story of his life, ideas, discoveries, and achievements in the many fields he pursued. The show includes period music, models, and reproductions of some of Leonardo’s most famous paintings. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.”

STEM Girls, a NASA-inspired engineering and aerodynamics activity for girls in grades 2-5, will take place at 1:30 p.m. To register, call 856-234-0333, ext. 5.
At any point during the day, children are invited to participate in a drop-in craft to make a necklace for Mother’s Day. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required, but the craft only lasts as long as supplies are available. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

The library is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is located at 111 West Second Street, adjacent to town hall.
