Bus Crash Shuts Down Turnpike Lanes in Mt. Laurel

The crash happened just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Most of the lanes shut down after a multi-car crash involving an overturned minibus on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Laurel have been reopened Sunday night, according to information from 511nj.org.

The left and center lanes on the northbound side of Turnpike were shut down just north of Route 73 following the crash, which happened just after 9:30 p.m., according to 511nj.org’s report, and the left lane on the southbound side was shut down for emergency vehicles to get to the scene.

All but the left northbound lane had been reopened by 10:30 p.m.

Emergency radio transmissions indicated people may have been trapped in the crash.
