Celebrate Spring With Easter EGGspress, Fairs In South Jersey

It's getting warm outside, and South Jersey residents who have been cooped up all winter have the chance to get out and celebrate with Easter events, live music, fairs, art galleries and tours of Battleship New Jersey.

The state's official Destination Marketing Organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties, and the Outer Coast Plain Wine Region in South Jersey has released a list of upcoming events you might find of interest.

Battleship NJ Tours Return
March 27th - 28th | 11 AM - 3 PM
Battleship NJ, Camden
The Battleship New Jersey Museum and Memorial will open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays in March. Tours will be available from 11 a.m., with the last tour departing at 3 p.m.
During tours, guests can check out the massive 16-inch gun turrets, track a tomahawk missile in the Combat Engagement Center, learn how the crew of the USS New Jersey lived aboard this floating city and more. We’ll also offer guided extended tours of an Engine Room and inside Gun Turret II. These are free add-on options that guests can choose to take.

Wheaton Conversations: Colorful Sawdust Carpets

Perfect Pair with barre3, Double Nickel + Sole Active

barre3 Cherry Hill, Double Nickel Brewing Company and Sole Active are teaming up to host a special livestream class. Attendees and their “perfect pair” – whether that’s a partner, roommate, mom or BFF – will be treated to a virtual barre3 class and beer tasting from the comfort of their home(s). Each ticket ($50) is for two people and includes a 30-minute livestream class taught by barre3 Cherry Hill studio owner Vanessa Allen, followed by a beer tasting led by Double Nickel’s Brian Needham. Attendees can be in the same household or can participate separately.

What is cozier than sitting next to a warm fire pit on a chilly day? Every Saturday and Sunday (weather permitting) Bellview Winery will have their fire pits available for your enjoyment. They’ll get the fire rolling for you when you arrive and provide you with one bushel of wood to start. After that each additional bushel of wood is just $5 which can be purchased at your leisure in the tasting room. Rentals also include a table and chairs to sit in around the fire.
