Community Mourns For Moorestown Man Who Served In Korea

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Glenn Conklin, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away on Nov. 1, 2020, at the age of 90. Glenn was retired from the Pennsylvania Railroad after over 30 years of service.

He graduated from Merchantville High School, Class of 1947. He was one of the players of the basketball team that won the state championship that year.

Glenn received his Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict as a 2nd Lt.

Husband of the late Sally. Survived by his brother-in-law John R. Travis and his wife Genie and several nieces and nephews.

Services and Private interment occurred in Colestown Cemetery with his wife. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 3906 Church Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
