Converge Church In Moorestown To Hold Drive-Thru Trunk-Or-Treat
The church that was founded on outside-the-box thinking is putting a new twist on a Halloween tradition amid the coronavirus pandemic.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Although it won’t look the same as it usually does, Converge Church is moving forward with its annual Trunk-or-Treat event this Halloween amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Converge Church’s Drive-Thru Trunk-Or-Treat will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 31. While it is not a traditional Trunk-or-Treat event, the socially-distanced version will incorporate the traditional aspects of a Trunk-or-Treat event.
Typically, children dress up in their Halloween costumes and walk from car-to-car, collecting candy. The cars are decorated for Halloween, and prizes are awarded. Many times, there are DJs and music.
