Burlington County Sees Record Turnout For 2020 Elections
Burlington County saw a record turnout in Tuesday's general elections as officials continued to count ballots.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ — Burlington County saw a record turnout for voters in this year's general elections, according to officials.
As of Wednesday morning, the county had received 235,940 vote-by-mail ballots, which is a new record for Burlington County residents participating in an election, according to Burlington County spokesman David Levinsky. No number was available for the number of provisional ballots that were cast countywide.
The previous record came in 2008, when there were 224,740 voters (208,809 by machine, 13,235 by absentee and 2,696 provisional). This year’s number will continue to change because the U.S. Postal Service is still delivering ballots, and any ballots that were postmarked on or before Nov. 3 will be counted.
