Delran Man Kicked Moorestown Cop in Chest: Authorities

The CEO of a local yacht-building company kicked a Moorestown police officer in the chest last week after he was arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident, according to authorities.
David Cherubini, 48, of Delran, was arrested last Thursday on charges of simple assault and aggravated assault stemming from a domestic situation, Moorestown Police said.
Cherubini is the CEO of Cherubini Yachts in Delran.

According to the Burlington County Times, while Cherubini was in custody at Lourdes Medical Center in Willingboro following his arrest, he kicked a Moorestown officer in the chest with both feet. The officer was reportedly attempting to assist hospital staff in restraining Cherubini.
The Times reported Cherubini was being held in Burlington County Jail but posted bail Tuesday.
