Events Return To Main Street With Moorestown Arts & Crafts Fair
The Moorestown Community House will host its inaugural Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — Live events return to Main Street in Moorestown this weekend as the state begins to turn the corner amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Moorestown Community House will host its inaugural Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, 16 East Main Street in Moorestown. More than 70 vendors will be participating, and there will be live entertainment.
Blake Rouen, a Moorestown Middle School student with Autism who is the DJ for the school’s boys basketball team, will play music at the event.

“We have had an overwhelming response from local vendors and the community,” Moorestown Community House Executive Director Caryn Lynch said. “This is the first Main Street event since the pandemic began, and the only event that is planned this spring that I am aware of.”

The Community House has been holding private events, including weddings, recently. People are taking tours, and the Community House is encouraging people to hold outdoor events as the weather warms up. Read more here: Moorestown Community House Hopes Nice Weather Draws Events

This may be the only event upcoming on Main Street, but other things are happening around town. This week, the Moorestown Theater Company brought live music back to the township with “Matilda, Jr.”
And the Strawbridge Lake Beautification Committee is hosting its third annual Paddle Board/Kayak Race and Family Festival at the corner of Kings Highway and Haines Drive in Moorestown on Saturday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday’s event was organized by the Community House’s volunteer Community Outreach Committee, whose mission is to find ways to bring the community together and foster a connection to the Community House, Lynch said. The committee also organizes the Children’s Holiday Shop, Patio Parties, and Tree Lighting.
