Family Mourns Passing Of 100-Year-Old Moorestown Woman

Helen Margaret Hanrahan , née Faulk passed away peacefully with her children by her side on February 23, 2021. She was 100 years old.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Helen Margaret Hanrahan , née Faulk passed away peacefully with her children by her side on February 23, 2021. She was 100 years old.

Helen was born in 1920 in Port Washington, Long Island New York to Thelma Edwards and Henry Faulk and grew up in a loving family with her mom and siblings, Jane, Bill and Thelma. Those formidable years were spent in Queens and Little Neck, L.I.

She spent her adult life in Little Neck, L.I, Charlotte NC, Plainview L.I., Mt Laurel NJ and Vincentown NJ. Her final home was at The Residence Assisted Living at Cherry Hill, NJ

Helen married the love of her life, Edward F. M. Hanrahan Jr. in 1945 and was predeceased by him in 1989. She spent a full and rich life in service to God and family and received many blessings along her journey.

Helen is survived by her loving family including her children, Edward F. M. Hanrahan of Mt. Laurel NJ, Janice L Johnston and her husband Jerry, of Clearwater FL and Fairfield CT and James M. Hanrahan and his wife Danai, Mt Laurel NJ. Also, her brother-in-law, Kenneth Hanrahan, Boynton Beach FL, her son-in-law, Michael Zoppina, Burlington NJ and her former daughter-in-law, Mary Houston, Magnolia NJ. Helen was predeceased by her beautiful and cherished daughter, Nancy Zoppina in 1995 and her loving daughter-in-law, Elsie Hanrahan in 2017.

In addition, she is survived by her ten Grandchildren: Brian Hanrahan, Kevin Hanrahan, Bernard Zoppina, Gary Johnston, Jennifer Mock, Jeffrey Johnston, Ryan Hanrahan, Elizabeth Zoppina, Amy Zoppina, and Blake Hanrahan. And her 13 great-grandchildren: Connor Hanrahan, Brayden Hanrahan, Connor Johnston, Ryan Johnston, Carley Johnston, Logan Mock, Tyler Mock, Chase Mock, Colton Johnston, Parker Johnston, Ryder Johnston, Bryson Zoppina and Christopher Zoppina. Additionally, she is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Helen will be sadly missed by her family but will forever remain in our hearts and minds and in the many memories we hold and cherish.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions. In person attendance at the mass and viewing will be limited to family.
