Final Vote On Percheron Park Bond Ordinance In Moorestown Monday

MOORESTOWN, NJ — There will be a public hearing and final vote on a bond ordinance for Percheron Park Monday night.

Moorestown Council will hold a virtual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday night, with participants being able to participate via teleconference or interactive video.

The bond ordinance calls for the allocation of $285,000 and the borrowing of $270,750 in bonds or notes to be used for the construction of Percheron Park.

There will also be three ordinances introduced Monday night, including:

  • The amendment of the township code concerning bus stops in Moorestown;
  • The amendment of the township code concerning fees and reports; and
  • The amendment of the township code concerning requirements for off-street parking.

Representatives from Lockheed Martin will also be on hand to discuss the Nagle Tract. There are 10 items on the consent agenda, including one that states Tom Merchel will remain in his role as township manager until a new manager is appointed, but no later than July 31.

Members of the public can participate in the meeting just the same as if at an in-person meeting.
The mayor will open the floor for public participation in accordance with normal protocol. Type "council meeting comments" and the meeting date in the subject line.

The meeting will also be broadcast via live stream on the Township's website, but the livestream is not interactive, and you will not be able to participate in the meeting in this format.
