Free Coffee for Wawa's 51st Birthday
The convenience store chain expects to give away more than 1.5 million cups of coffee for Wawa Day on April 16.

Wawa turns 51 years old Thursday and is pouring out gallons of coffee in celebration.
Visitors to one of the convenience store’s hundreds of locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania can stop in on April 16 and receive any size cup of coffee, free of charge. The company expects to give out more than 1.5 million cups before the day is over.
Wawa is also giving away 416 $20 gift cards for use in the stores. Customers have until April 17 at 5 p.m. to enter the contest on the website.

The day-long festivities will begin at 8 a.m. Wawa’s first convenience store opened on April 16, 1964, in Folsom, Pa., and has since expanded into one of the top companies in the region, with more than 680 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia and Florida.
