Incumbent Law To Run In Moorestown Special Election; Seeks Debate
Quinton Law announced he will run in the special election for Moorestown Council, and he is looking to debate Republican Vick Bobadilla.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Incumbent Councilman Quinton Law has announced he will run for the Moorestown Council seat he was appointed to in January, and welcomes a debate with his likely Republican opponent.
Law was appointed to an open seat on Moorestown Council last month after Brian Donnelly resigned in December. Law took the oath of office on Jan. 25. “We look forward to a vigorous and respectful dialogue during this race and hope Vick’s campaign will agree to explore and debate issues vital to moving Moorestown forward,” Law said in an announcement issued on Thursday. “All residents should have the opportunity to understand where candidates stand on issues of importance to our community such as supporting local businesses, improving our natural environment, and fostering community engagement, all of which directly impacts each and every voter.”
The New Jersey Primary Elections will take place on June 8, and the general election is scheduled for Nov. 2.

The deadline to file a petition to run in this year's primaries is 4 p.m. Monday, and they can be filed electronically pursuant to an Executive Order of Gov. Phil Murphy.
“Last year, candidates for town council took part in a debate hosted by MooreUnity, providing a valuable opportunity for our community to ask questions about the issues that are important to the town,” the Law for Council Campaign said. “Mr. Law looks forward to engaging Mr. Bobadilla in a similar event this year.”
