Law, Bobadilla File Petitions For Moorestown Special Election

The stage is set for November's special election for an open seat on Moorestown Council.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The stage is set for November’s special election for an open seat on Moorestown Council.

On Thursday, Councilman Quinton Law announced that he would run for the seat he was appointed to in January.

In March, the Moorestown Republican Municipal Committee unanimously endorsed Vick Bobadilla in his bid for the seat that became vacant in December.

They both filed petitions to run in this year’s primary by Monday’s deadline, but no one else did, according to the township clerk’s office.

The New Jersey Primary Elections will take place on June 8, and the general election is scheduled for Nov. 2. June 8 is also the deadline for residents to file petitions to run an independent campaign in this year's elections.
