MOORESTOWN, NJ — Local artist Chad Lewine’s “Emergence 2” now adorns the windows adjacent to the Old Navy store in the East Gate Square Shopping Center, shopping center M & J Wilkow announced on Monday.

“It's perfect timing for something like this to be displayed in a place of commerce,” Lewine said. “We have been hibernating for over a year, and we are all about to re-emerge into a slightly new world. I am grateful to be a part of that emergence.”

Lewine is a local abstract artist, muralist, and singer/songwriter residing in the suburbs of Philadelphia. His work includes interesting shapes, patterns, movement, and bright colors. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2010.

“East Gate Square has transformed the windows of a vacant space to bring this one-of-a-kind artwork to the Moorestown/Mt. Laurel community,” East Gate Square General Manager Laura Martin said. “It is important for us to honor the arts, support local artists, and bring exciting and unique artwork to the shopping center as our community emerges from the Covid-19 pandemic. Chad’s window mural is an exciting addition to East Gate Square.”

The original piece is for sale and Lewine is available for mural and painting commissions. For more information, visit www.chadlewine.com.
