Moorestown Concert Canceled Amid Tropical Storm Warning

The Opus Soul concert in Moorestown has been canceled for a second time. The magic show will take place virtually on Friday.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Opus Soul concert that was to have taken place in Moorestown has been canceled for the second time.

The concert, rescheduled for Aug. 3 after being postponed from July 27, has been canceled, according to the township website. The Brian Richards Magic Show that was to precede the concert was rescheduled for Friday morning, 10 a.m. It will stream live on Youtube.

No new date was announced for the Opus Soul concert. The rest of Moorestown's Summer Concert Series schedule is as follows:

Aug. 10:
Children's Entertainment: Brian Richards Magic Show, 6:30 p.m.
Main Stage: Trophy Husbands, 7:15 p.m.

Aug. 17:
Children's Entertainment: Lee's Circus Extravaganza, 6:30 p.m.
Main Stage: MoorArts, 7:15 p.m.

Aug. 24:
Flutist Beverly Pugh Corry with accompanist, 6 p.m.
Vinyl Comes Alive, 6:30 p.m.

Aug. 31
Soulport, 6:30 p.m.

The Aug. 10 and 17 shows will take place at the Community House, and the final two shows will take place at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Moorestown.
