Moorestown Girls Swim Team Earns Top Spot In Playoffs

The Moorestown High School girls and boys swim teams both made the playoffs, as did the Moorestown Friends girls team.

MOORESTOWN, NJ - The road to a girls swimming championship goes through Moorestown.

The Moorestown High School girls swim team is the top seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Public B playoffs, according to nj.com. The distinction earns the Quakers a double bye, meaning they won’t enter the tournament until the third round.

At that point, they will face No. 4 Ocean City, No. 5 Shawnee or No. 12 Cherry Hill West. If they win that meet, they advance directly to the final where they will likely face No. 2 Mainland.
