Moorestown High School Boys Basketball Team Off To 3-0 Start

The Quakers won the Eastern Regional Tournament over the weekend to bring their record to 3-0, according to nj.com.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown High School boys basketball team is off to a 3-0 start this season after the Quakers took home the Eastern Regional Tournament title this weekend.

Moorestown defeated host Eastern, 49-38, in the tournament final on Saturday, according to nj.com. Kevin Muhic had a double double with 15 points and 12 blocked shots in the win.

The Quakers advanced to the final with a 62-40 win over Kingsway on Friday, according to nj.com. Senior Hayden Greer lead the way with 23 points, followed by 15 points from Muhic.

Moorestown opened the 2019-20 season with a 52-45 overtime win over Mainland in the Jimmy V Tournament at Cherokee High School on Dec. 21, according to nj.com. Muhic was Moorestown’s leading scorer with 14 points.

Moorestown returns to the court on Jan. 2 when it visits Westampton Tech (3-0) in a matchup of unbeaten teams at 5:15 p.m.
