Moorestown High School Grad Was Active In Church, Community

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Gordon Daniel Macfarlane was born in Camden, NJ, to Ivor and Claire Macfarlane. Gordon grew up in a loving family with his brother Robert and his sister, Joan and a large extended family that included 20 first cousins. He died on January 12, 2021, at the age of 64.

Gordon was a lifetime resident of Burlington County, New Jersey. He graduated from Moorestown High School. In his youth, he participated in many community activities such as baseball, football, and Boy Scouts. Gordon regularly attended the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown with his family. He volunteered his services to church sponsored activities such as the Strawberry Festival.

Throughout his life, Gordon enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He was actively involved in events sponsored by Delaware House, a Catholic Charity organization. He also was proud of his work at Good Will Industries in Burlington.

Gordon loved and was loved by his family and survived by his brother Bob Macfarlane of Grasonville, Md, as well as his sister-in-law Eileen, his nephew, Rob Macfarlane, and nieces Lisa Van Horn and Amy Collins.

Due to the present circumstances, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. A private burial will take place in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Moorestown, NJ.
