Moorestown High School Robotics Team Host Annual LEGO Night
LEGO building/STEM education night to take place at Upper Elementary School, Thursday, February 28th from 5 -7:30 pm.
Moorestown High School Robotics Team will be hosting their annual LEGO Night on Thursday February 28th from 5 -7:30 pm. The team invite all K-6 graders from Moorestown and surrounding towns to join them for a night of LEGO building, STEM education, fun and games.
The purpose of LEGO Night is to introduce young students to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Additionally, students will be offered the opportunity to meet students from local robotics teams to learn about more options to continue their interest in STEM. This year's theme will be "Shipwrecked!" K-2nd graders will get the chance to parade their creations to the audience, whilst grades 3 through 6 may enter a competitive build to win awards.
Admission is $10 and includes a slice of pizza. Other dining/snacking options will be available (cash only please). Students should bring a container of loose Legos to build with during the event.
Advanced ticket purchases are strongly advised. For ticket purchases and more information, visit tinyurl.com/LegoNight2019 No tickets necessary for parents and non-building attendees.
