Moorestown will begin its quest for a South Jersey Group 3 title on Thursday.
MOORESTOWN, NJ - The Moorestown High School softball team will begin its quest for a championship at home on Thursday.
Moorestown is the No. 6 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 playoffs, according to nj.com. It will host No. 11 Lacey in the first round on May 16.
The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 3 Mainland and No. 14 Pinelands in the quarterfinals on May 20. The semifinals are set for May 23, and the championship game will take place on May 28.

Moorestown is 10-8 heading into the playoffs, while Lacey is 11-7, according to nj.com.
