Moorestown Mall Megasite To Exceed 200K COVID-19 Vaccine Doses
The state's mega-site at the Moorestown Mall will administer its 200,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, health officials said.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The state's mega-site at the Moorestown Mall will administer its 200,000th dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, health officials said. The milestone comes 26 days after the mega-site administered its 100,000th dose, on March 7.
Virtua Health, which runs the mega-site, began its vaccination campaign on Dec. 18, 2020, by establishing a Voorhees-based vaccine clinic for its own front-line employees and other health care workers in the region. At that time, the Pfizer vaccine was available, and the Moderna vaccine became available shortly thereafter, and now Johnson & Johnson's one-dose vaccine is available.
In mid-January, Virtua joined forces with the State of New Jersey, Burlington County, and other partners to open the Burlington County COVID-19 Vaccine Mega-Site – one of six "mega-sites" across the state. Read more here: NJ's COVID-19 Vaccine 'Megasite' Opens At Moorestown Mall
