Moorestown Memorial Day Ceremony To Be Held Virtually
Moorestown is planning a pre-recorded ceremony, which the residents will be able to view virtually on May 25.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — The coronavirus pandemic has impacted another major holiday in Moorestown. Due to the pandemic, the township announced it will not hold its Memorial Day Ceremony at Memorial Field this year.
However, they are planning a pre-recorded ceremony, which the residents will be able to view virtually on May 25. More details will be provided at a later time.
This will be the 34th annual Memorial Day Ceremony, which is usually held at Memorial Field. The field is named for the Multi-War Memorial that stands at the entryway, and is the home of multiple athletic fields.

All trash will be delayed the week of Memorial Day. Residents’ trash will be picked up the day after their normally scheduled pickup. Recycling will also be one day behind and will be picked up on Thursday.
