Moorestown, Moorestown Friends Girls Soccer Teams Make Playoffs

Moorestown Friends is the No. 4 seed in Non-Public B, and Moorestown High School is the No. 9 seed in South Jersey Group 3.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Both the Moorestown High School and Moorestown Friends School girls soccer teams begin their quests for South Jersey titles on Monday.

Moorestown Friends is the No. 4 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Non-Public B tournament, according to brackets posted on nj.com. They will host No. 13 Mater Dei in the first round on Monday, Oct. 28.

The winner plays the winner of the game between No. 5 Doane Academy and No. 12 Calvary Christian (Old Bridge) in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Oct. 31. The semifinals are set for Nov. 4, and the championship game will take place on Nov. 7.

Moorestown High School is the No. 9 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 tournament, according to nj.com. It will visit No. 8 Cherry Hill West in the first round on Monday, Oct. 28.

The winner of that game will play the winner of the game between top-seeded Ocean City and No. 16 Timber Creek in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Oct. 31. The semifinals are set for Nov. 4, and the championship game will take place on Nov. 7.
