Moorestown Outdoor Dining Guide: Here's Where To Eat

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Looking for the best restaurants in Moorestown to enjoy a good meal outside? Luckily there are plenty of options, whether it's a casual dinner for two, brunch with the family or just a quick bite by yourself.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, outdoor dining has been expanding — even during the colder months. Many eateries got creative during the winter, setting up indoor dining tents and even igloos.

But the days of needing shelter from the cold are waning, setting up the chance for even more opportunities to eat al fresco in the coming months.

The Yard House, 400 Route 38, Moorestown Mall; 856-722-5620: The Yard House has a fleet of 100+ draft beers, crafted cocktails and a food menu of more than 100 dishes that are made from scratch.

Blue Fig Café, 200 Young Avenue; 856-638-5186: Blue Fig Café offers Mediterranean food that is all-natural and is available for customers with various dietary needs. They offer seating both inside and outside, and pick-up and delivery are also available.

Pie Lady Café, 9 East Main Street; 856-778-7437: One resident praised this Moorestown institution as "an uplifting outdoor local place during the pandemic." The Pie Lady offers more than 100 pies daily, as well as coffee, scones, muffins, Quiché and cold drinks, and recently added breakfast and lunch to the menu.

The Cubby Hole, 37 East Main Street; 856-234-4372: This family-owned restaurant in the heart of Moorestown serves breakfast, lunch, pastries and coffee every day, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. They focus on fresh food.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, 400 Route 38, Moorestown Mall; 856-380-0604: Firebirds features a selection of aged steaks hand-cut in the restaurant, fresh seafood, chicken and ribs seared over local hickory, oak or pecan wood.
