Moorestown Police Identify 3 People Killed In Crash

All three people killed in Saturday morning's accident on Route 38 in Moorestown were from Philadelphia, police said.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — Three people who were killed in an accident with an NJ Transit bus on Route 38 in Moorestown on Saturday were all Philadelphia residents, according to police.

Rodriguez Heriberto, 45, was driving a 2003 Honda Accord that collided with an NJ Transit bus at the intersection of Route 38 and Pleasant Valley Avenue early Saturday morning, according to Moorestown police.

There were two passengers in his car at the time of the crash, police said. They were identified as 40-year-old Betsy Colon and 42-year-old Monica DeJesus. All three were pronounced deceased on the scene.

The bus was making a left turn from Route 38 west onto Pleasant Valley Avenue when it was struck by the car, police said. The car was travelling east on Route 38 at the time of the crash, police said.

No charges were filed against the bus driver, who was turning left on a green arrow at the time of the crash, police said.
