Moorestown Schools Go Remote Ahead Of Impending Snow

The Moorestown Public School District will go full-remote as the region braces for another storm on Thursday.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Public School District will operate on full-remote schedules on Thursday, school officials announced on Wednesday, ahead of an impending snowstorm.

"On Thursday, February 18, the district will operate under a modified virtual learning day for students and staff," the district said on its website. "We will utilize our virtual platforms (including synchronous and asynchronous work) in the morning to count the school day. There will be no EDC Program as all buildings will be closed."

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for 17 New Jersey counties, including Burlington, saying that snow and sleet accumulations could bring anywhere from 3 to 8 inches across the state.
