The Moorestown Quakes 14U Black’s offensive attack in Monday night's 13-3 win over the Medford Renegades was paced by Maggie Verdon, who drove in five runners with two hits, including a single and a double. Cam Messner led a strong pitching performance for Moorestown, going four innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out six and walking none. Alana Baar threw three innings, allowing three hits and three runs. Moorestown racked up nine hits, with Jessee Coucoules, Corinne Miller, Maggie Verdon, and Brianna Misselhorn all having multiple knocks.

Moorestown Quakes 12U Black took home a 5-2 victory over the Cherry Hill Gators on Saturday afternoon. Moorestown’s offense was paced by Sophia Presto’s three hits (including a triple) and two RBI, as well as two hits apiece for Melaina Locatell and Julia Miller. Moorestown’s pitching was strong, limiting Cherry Hill to just three hits. Julia Miller pitched 3 1/3 innings, allowing no runs, two hits, two walks, and striking out nine. Sophia Presto pitched two innings and allowed one unearned run, but didn’t allow a hit, and struck out four, while walking four. Isabelle McCloud went 1 2/3 innings, allowing one run on one hit and two walks, while striking out one. Moorestown’s offense tallied ten hits and five walks in the game, but left 10 runners on base due to spectacular catching and infield defense by Cherry Hill.

A seven-run fifth inning led to Moorestown Quakes 10U Gold to a 13-2 victory on Saturday afternoon. Lucy Zarzycki, Elizabeth Bunnens and Anabelle Ferner held the game in the pitcher’s circle for Moorestown. Elizabeth Bunnens led the offense with two hits in three at bats, while Lilly Whitaker led Moorestown with six stolen bases as the team ran wild on the base paths with 22 total stolen bases. Runs were scored by Elizabeth Bunnens, Josephine Gehring, Katie Mark, Lucy Zarzycki, Lilly Whitaker, Ella Andrews, Scarlett Hopkins, Eliana Henefer, and Anabelle Ferner.
