Moorestown's 4th Of July Parade 2020 Canceled
Moorestown's traditional Fourth of July events may be canceled, but there are several other ways you can celebrate the holiday safely.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — July 4 events across the country will not look the same this year thanks to the coronavirus. Many cities and towns have been forced to cancel the annual Fourth of July events, including Moorestown.
Although Moorestown’s annual 4th of July Parade has been canceled, residents are still encouraged to decorate their homes in patriotic colors and items (flags, bunting, etc.) and post photos of their effort on Facebook.
The theme for this year's poster contest is Sea to Shining Sea, so the Moorestown 4th of July Committee is asking families with grade school age children to have them create a poster based on that theme and post the result on Facebook.

"Hopefully next year we can present the parade to the town as we have done since 2011," the committee said in its announcement. "In the meantime, and thanks to Steve Stern who recorded this parade from 2019, we offer it in place of our 2020 parade."
