Nearly 400 NJ Rite Aids, CVS, Walmarts Now Offer COVID-19 Vaccine
Many more NJ stores offer the COVID-19 vaccine than a month ago. Here's a list of Rite Aid, CVS and Walmart stores that have the vaccine.
NEW JERSEY — As the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine increases, doses at the state’s mega-sites and county vaccination clinics increase and more appointments become available.
The same is true of the Garden State’s drug stores, including Rite Aid, Walmart and CVS, which have greatly expanded the number of stores that provide the vaccine to New Jersey residents who are eligible. In all, nearly 400 of these pharmacies are now offering the vaccine.
Gov. Phil Murphy said New Jersey is working with the White House to greatly expand the state's vaccination program, particularly targeting sites that can be accessible to the public such as pharmacies.

"It is also a reason why we moved up our vaccine eligibility time frame aggressively so we can now have more people into the ranks of the fully vaccinated in a shorter amount of time," Murphy said.
As of Friday, New Jersey had a total of 1,962,866 fully vaccinated people. The total number of vaccines administered number is 5,025,957.

All 68 Walmart and Sams Club stores in New Jersey are currently administering COVID-19 vaccine to people 55 and older, and those residents can make their appointments by calling the New Jersey Senior Hotline at 856-249-7007. Anyone can schedule an appointment by calling their local pharmacy directly. For a list of Walmart locations in New Jersey, visit walmart.com.
Rite Aid doesn’t list the addresses of the stores in which the vaccine is available, but the state lists them by town.
“What we can confirm is that Rite Aid is receiving more than 450,000 doses per week through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program and is vaccinating in more than 1,900 stores,” a Rite Aid spokesperson told Patch this week.
