Put On Your Car-Stume: Moorestown Mall Hosting Unique Contest
The Moorestown Mall will host a car-stume contest in October.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — The Moorestown Mall is combining the best parts of Halloween with a Classic Car Show for a unique contest this fall.
The Hallo-varoom Car-stume contest will take place at the Moorestown Mall from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 24.
Gift cards of $250, $125 and $75 to any store or restaurant in the mall will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place finishers.

There will also be a pet costume contest, live music from the Mal-practice Band, and food trucks to benefit Kamp for Kids.
Tim Burton’s classic, “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” will be screened on a 20-foot LED TV, and Jack and Sally will be on hand at a selfie station. Children ages 12-and-under are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

The car-stume contest will be limited to 100 entrants with a $10 entrance fee. All entrants must arrive at the judging event area on the Route 38 side of the mall near HomeSense by 10 a.m.
Moorestown Mall management and community guests will judge vehicles on creativity, theme, design, and execution using a point system. Winners will be announced by 1 p.m.
The competition is for residents only. Business vehicles will only be allowed to attend on a marketing license agreement with Moorestown Mall Marketing.
Participants will be socially-distanced and park in every other spot with a vacant parking space on each side. The community will follow one way arrows to view the vehicle judging grounds.
When social distancing is not possible, face coverings will be required. Face coverings must also be worn inside the mall.
