Power Outages Persist In Moorestown After Storm
The number of power outages in Moorestown fluctuated throughout the day Wednesday.
MOORESTOWN, NJ — The number of power outages in Moorestown fluctuated throughout the day Wednesday as the township continues to recover from Tuesday's storm. By Thursday morning, there were a little more than 1,000 Moorestown residents still without power.
There were just shy of 2,000 Moorestown residents still in the dark Wednesday night. Earlier in the day, there were more than 2,600, but that number had dropped below 1,000 by the late afternoon. It was back to 1,900 late Wednesday night.
PSE&G continues to assess conditions as it attempts to determine an estimated restoration time. There are more than 20,000 Burlington County residents who are still without power altogether, and a state of emergency has been declared.
