Services Set For Decorated World War II Veteran
Harold Fletcher passed away peacefully on April 1, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 97.
Harold Fletcher passed away peacefully on April 1, 2021, at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 97. Harold was a lifelong resident of Mt. Laurel.
During WWII, he served in the Army with the Co. B 4th Medical Battalion. He was in the Normandy, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. During the execution of his duties, he received 3 Bronze Stars, with Oak leaf Clusters. Purple Heart and a Good Conduct Medal.
Harold was predeceased by his wife Miriam Fletcher and son Stephen Fletcher. Survived by his Sister-in-Law Janet McCourt and her husband William. Uncle of Michael McCourt, Donna Miller and Glenn McCourt.

Viewing is Saturday, April 10, 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Lewis Funeral Home, 78 E. Main St. Moorestown, NJ. Graveside service is Saturday, 11 a.m. at Mt. Laurel Cemetery, Cemetery Lane Mt. Laurel.
COVID-19 restrictions of mask wearing, attendance capacities and social distancing will be in place. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Laurel Township EMS, 201 Masonville, Rd. Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
