MOORESTOWN, NJ — A fluid leak from a commercial truck has resulted in hazardous conditions on Moorestown roads Thursday evening, police said.

A commercial truck exited Route 73 and leaked some type of oil onto the road, according to Moorestown Police Chief Lee Lieber. Much of it has already been washed away by the rain.

The county highway department is responding to sand the road for the safety of the drivers in the area and get the roadway cleared. The following roads are being impacted:

  • Camden Ave from the Maple Shade Twp line to New Albany Rd;
  • New Albany Rd from Camden Ave to Lenola Rd; and
  • Lenola Rd from New Albany Rd to the Cinnaminson Twp line.

Conditions are extremely slippery due to fluids being leaked onto the roadway. Drivers should use extremely caution when driving in this area.
