MOORESTOWN, NJ — The speed limit on a dangerous part of Golf View Road will soon drop by 10 mph following a vote by Moorestown Council Monday night.
Moorestown Council unanimously approved a proposed ordinance on second reading to lower the speed limit Golf View Road to 15 mph between East Maple Avenue and Park Drive. The current speed limit is 25 mph.
Moorestown Police Chief Lee Lieber made the recommendation in response to a dangerous “S” curve on the road where there is no shoulder, making it dangerous for vehicles to safely maintain their travel lane and share the road with pedestrians and bicyclists.
