Superhero Saturday Comes To The Moorestown Mall Aug. 10

The event is sponsored by the Franklin Institute's current Marvel Universe exhibit.

MOORESTOWN, NJ — “Avengers: Endgame” is the end of an era for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there are more movies coming for fans.

There’s also the “Marvel: Universe of Heroes” exhibit at the Franklin Institute, and of course, the comic books. You can also catch them at the Moorestown Mall.

That’s right, True Believer, the Franklin Institute is presenting “Super Hero Saturday” at the mall on Saturday, Aug. 10, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Activities include:

  • Meet Marvel's Black Widow and Spider-Man
  • Make a superhero mask and shield
  • Check out the super fun at the Funplex Station
  • Meet heroes and be a hero!
  • Test your strength and complete the obstacle course
  • “Capture the Villain” mall-wide storefront photo scavenger hunt
  • Starsky & Hutch Original Gran Torino display
  • Learn fire safety and dress in “real” fire gear with the Moorestown Fire Department
  • Build your superhero vehicle at the LEGO station
  • DJ dancing, fun & games
  • Share what your superpower would be on the chalk wall

Registration for this event will be available as the event date approaches. All guests of this event must check in at the Welcome Table in Lord & Taylor Court to get their shield and super hero mask.
