Albany Street Bridge Crash Results in DWI Charges
A Belle Mead woman has been charged in connection with the crash.

A head-on collision Thursday night on the Albany Street bridge has resulted in DWI charges for a Belle Mead woman.
According to a press release from the New Brunswick Police Department, Jennifer Szalay, 31, of Belle Mead was driving a Honda northbound on Albany Street when she allegedly crossed over into oncoming traffic, hitting a Nissan driven by Atalah Mohammed, 24, of Linden.
Szalay has been charged with Driving While Intoxicated following an investigation by police.

Both drivers were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to the release.Â
