Date Announced For 2nd NJ Governor's Debate Between Ciattarelli, Sherrill
The debate will be held at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center and will be moderated by ABC News anchors in Philadelphia and New York.

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ ? The second debate in the New Jersey governor's election will be Oct. 8 in New Brunswick, and sponsored in part by the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University.
This was just announced by Rutgers Thursday morning.
This will be the second of two public debates between Republican Jack Ciattarelli and Democrat Mikie Sherrill; their first debate was Sunday night at Rider University.

The second debate will be moderated by ABC News anchors in Philadelphia and New York, Tamala Edwards and Bill Ritter. They will ask questions and moderate.
The debate will be held at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center in New Brunswick from 7 - 8 p.m. Oct. 8 and it will be broadcast live on ABC7/WABC-TV New York, 6abc/WPVI-TV Philadelphia and across the news stations? streaming and digital platforms. The debate will also be steamed on ABC News Live, with a live simulcast on Univision 41 New York with Spanish captioning.

The first debate between Ciattarelli and Sherril was Sunday night at Rider University in Lawrenceville. That debate, which you can watch in its entirety here, included tense exchanges over affordability, property taxes, schools, immigration, political violence and President Donald Trump.

A debate between their running mates ? James Gannon and Dale G. Caldwell ? is scheduled for Sept. 30. The lieutenant governor debate will be held from 7-8 p.m. at Kean University in Union, and will also be broadcast live on WPIX and WPHL, said a spokesman for the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission. It will also be aired live via radio at New Jersey 101.5. The debate also will be live-streamed on PIX11.com? PHL17.com? NJ101.5.com and PIX 11+ (PIX 11?s streaming app).
The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University are both sponsoring the debate.
The debate itself will be closed to the public.

New Jersey and Virginia are the only two states that will have a governor's election this year. The election will be Nov. 4.
