City Council, Church Celebration, Concert This Week in New Brunswick

1. The New Brunswick City Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18. Check the city website to view the agenda before the meeting. 

2. If you haven't had the chance to tour the New Brunswick downtown in a free horse-drawn carriage ride, Friday, Dec. 20 is your last chance for this holiday season. The carriages pick up between 6-9 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency New Brunswick. 

3. The First Reformed Church, located at 9 Bayard St., will host its "Light of the World Bash" from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21. 

4. The Rutgers University Alumni Wind Symphony will give a free concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Nicholas Music Center, 85 George St.
