Code Blue, Film Screening, GSP Opening This Week in New Brunswick
A guide to events scheduled this week in New Brunswick.

1. A "Code Blue" has been announced for the evenings of Monday, Jan. 27. Those without shelter are invited to stay overnight at the Elijah's Promise soup kitchen between the hours of 7 p.m. and 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28. For more information, click here.Â
2. The George Street Playhouse's newest production, "One of Your Biggest Fans," opens this week, with performances starting at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
3. Play table tennis with New Brunswick 4-H from 3-5 p.m. Wednesdays at the HUB Teen Center, 411 Joyce Kilmer Ave.Â
4. Author Zach Lichtmann will host a meet and greet to promote his new book, "Dymano" at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at the Rutgers University Barnes & Noble, 100 Somerset St. Lichtmann will donate sales of his book during the month of February to benefit the Community Foodbank of New Jersey.Â
5. The New Brunswick Free Public Library will screen the civil rights documentary "Freedom Riders" at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1. A panel discussion will follow.Â
