Council Meeting, Tree Lighting This Week in New Brunswick

1. The Rutgers Early Music Ensemble will offer a free concert at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3 at Voorhees Chapel on the Douglass campus of Rutgers University. 

2. The New Brunswick city council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4 in council chambers of city hall. View the agenda here. 

3. The New Brunswick tree lighting and chili cookoff will take place from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 in Monument Square.

4. Free horse-drawn carriage rides will take riders around the downtown between 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6. The carriages will pick up riders at the Hyatt Regency on Albany Street.
