Highland Park will host a pop-up flea market Saturday and Sunday, an outdoor winter market, caroling and a tree lighting Saturday night.

HIGHLAND PARK, NJ — Highland Park is pulling out all the stops for Small Business Weekend, this Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 24 and 25, a nationwide initiative to encourage shoppers to patronize downtowns and small businesses.
Highland Park will be hosting a pop-up flea market on Saturday and Sunday, an outdoor winter market on Saturday, caroling around town on Saturday, live music in various spots on Saturday & Sunday, food trucks on Saturday & Sunday, a tree lighting on Saturday evening, a free indoor movie on Sunday, free tote bags for the first 2,000 shoppers in businesses around town and more!
- First-ever WINTER MARKET on the Farmers Market lot, 218 Raritan Avenue, from 1 p.m. - 6:15 p.m. Come check out the vendors before heading to the other businesses around town! And stick around for the tree lighting on the same lot, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25!
- FREE TOTE BAGS to the first 2,000 downtown shoppers. The bags will be filled with coupons & promotional items from Highland Park businesses - be sure to use them for all your shopping this holiday season! Totes will be available in shops throughout town.
- CENTRAL JERSEY POP-UP FLEA MARKET, 431 Raritan Avenue, both Saturday (9 a.m. - 7 p.m.) & Sunday (9 p.m. - 5 p.m.). Including live music on Sunday at 12:00 noon, courtesy of Bella Nota!
- CAROLING with the Highland Park Community Chorus, approximately 12-3pm on Saturday. Come find them to carol around town with them! They will start at the corner of North 6th & Route 27, walk down Raritan Avenue to 1st Avenue, cross the street, and walk back up Raritan Avenue, finishing at the corner of South 5th & Raritan in front of Over the Moon Toys.
- DOWNTOWN TREE LIGHTING with SANTA, 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, at Main Street Highland Park, 212 Raritan Avenue. Including music from Highland Park High School women’s acapella group Amandala, and caroling with the Highland Park Community Chorus. And the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Department will be bringing Santa by on the fire truck!
- LIVE MUSIC at Pino’s 4 North 4th Avenue: Rouvan on Saturday at 7pm, Drew on Sunday at 12:00, and Highland Park Bluegrass Jam on Sunday at 2pm.
- FREE MOVIE screening of “Strange Brew” at Pino’s (4 North 4th Ave) on Sunday at 7pm
