Global Day of Prayer, Raices Workshop Tuesday in New Brunswick

1. Pope John Francis has called for a global wave of prayer to end world hunger today, Tuesday, Dec. 10.

From noon-1 p.m. today, Holy Family Parish's three churches - Sacred Heart Church, 56 Throop Ave., St. Ladislaus Church, 213 Somerset St. and St. Joseph Church, located at the corner of Maple Street and Somerset Street will be open for prayer and reflection, according to Msgr. Joseph Kerrigan.

2. Raices Cultural Center will hold a mask-making workshop from 6-7:30 p.m. tonight at Greater Brunswick Charter School. Admission is free but registration is requested.  

3. Kids are invited to the New Brunswick Free Public Library at 4 p.m. today for free play with Play-Doh, LEGOs, board games and crafts.
